I first drew three draft sketches. I knew for sure that the logo was going to be a crescent moon with crystals and diamond drops hanging over it. As for the brand name, I came up with the name "Asrazure". The word is a combination of Asra and Azura, both being of Arabic origin. Asra, meaning night, and Azure is a vibrant shade of blue.
After some rough drafts, the final design was made.
The second part of creating this logo involved using a greyscale of black and white to see the difference in shading and lighting, which helps show how the logo would look in color. Below is the final draft of the greyscale logo.
When I received criticism for my logo, the only issue was the font of Asrazure, since it was pretty difficult to read. I went back in and did some revisions, along with the coloring.
These were some of the color drafts I had saved in the process.

The same criticism applies to the previous drafts; find a different font. It was also recommended that I change the lighting to more yellow tints rather than white to help the star and sun from looking too contrasting against the blue hues.
After finding a readable font and adding some yellow in the logo, I was able to create the final piece of Asrazure.
