Anyone moving in or out of a building must pay a $200 deposit to the SGA Managing
Agent (NS Management). The resident will pay for all damages to buildings caused by moving, removing, or carrying furniture or other articles. If there is no damage, the deposit will be refunded within thirty days of the move.
Deliveries and removals, including moving into an apartment OR moving out, must be made between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on weekdays or no earlier than 10:00 a.m. or later than 6:00 p.m. on weekends. Elevators need to be padded, please make arrangements with the building engineers.
Please inform the trustees of the day and time you are moving into your unit. The trustees and NS Management require a certificate of insurance from your moving company before your move-in date. A building coordinator will greet you on your move-in day to help answer any questions about the community.
You may obtain a moving vehicle permit from the city of Evanston to reserve street parking near the property for your moving truck. Please see the following link to the city website: Moving Vehicle and Storage Container Permit | City of Evanston
