Hello, my name is Shere Thu Thuy. For over 30 years, I have dedicated my life to the art of music and performance as a New Wave, Italo, and rock singer, as well as a TV and movie actress spanning from 1970 to 2024. My journey through various artistic expressions has been both fulfilling and transformative. I was originally born into a Buddhist family, but my spiritual journey led me to embrace Catholicism. However, it wasn’t until I fully committed myself to Christianity that I realized I had been chasing a hollow dream. A pivotal moment occurred when I was invited to attend a local church service. As I listened to the uplifting Christian music, a wave of realisation washed over me; I felt like I had finally come home. The melodies and lyrics that praised our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, resonated deeply within my soul, stirring emotions I hadn't felt before. When the congregation learned of my background as a singer, they warmly invited me to share my voice with them. In that moment, singing for the Lord brought me an indescribable happiness, one that I previously thought I could only find in my successful music and film career. As of 2024, I have decided to channel my creative energy into producing original music dedicated to my Lord and Savior. I understand that this decision may alienate some of my existing followers, yet I feel a profound calling to create music that glorifies God. The joy I experience from this spiritual journey far surpasses any fleeting validation I once sought from fans in pursuit of fame and success, which often felt like an endless and unfulfilling chase. In this new phase of my artistic life, I will be collaborating with talented producer Eric Teggers. Together, we are committed to crafting original songs and heartfelt covers, complete with lyrics and videos that reflect this newfound purpose. This journey is not just about music; it’s about sharing a message of hope, love, and redemption.
