Q.S.C were the first Sheppey Team to represent Kent in the BAPTO run event with the finals being played at the Blackpool Tower Ballrooms, I’m not sure of the full team, Here are Q.S.C players it may have been, Alan Marsh, John Mills, Ray Mills, Ray Farbrother, Colin (polly) Perkins, Les Barnett, Jimmy Morris,Kevin Field, Steve Wheatly and Rob Curtis, This was before my time so if you put this on your web site Gary I’m sure someone will correct it

We put a team in the BAPTO event and played out of “The Flying Dutchman” Queen Borough 1988 It’s just a seven man team event we played a Thanet team in the Kent finals, Team, Tony Gray, Rob Montgomery,Cliff Montgomery,Ray Farbrother, Adey Horn, Dave Goldsimth, Wayne Bret, Jock Connors, Tony Gray turned up Late we were 2-1 up when he arrived, Adey Horn was playing the forth frame very important frame 3-1 up or 2-2 but Adey hung in there and won the frame

we put Tony on next, Game over 4-1, we were in the BAPTO finals now to be played at the Vauxhall Holiday park Great Yarmouth, Another trip for me to arrange,
