RAM BAND Camp Rehearsals

Saturday, August 17 -  Friday, August 23

Band Camp 2024 will begin on Saturday, August 17th from Noon - 9 pm at the Frank Center for the Arts.  Students will need to move into their residence halls between 9 nad 11 am then check-in at the Frank Center prior to 12 pm (details will be sent in a later mailing). Students will need to move into their residence halls prior to the first rehearsal and must schedule their move-in date online with Residence Life. Commuters should plan to park in the Frank Center lot during this week only. Ram Band students will be able to check-in at the Frank Center between 11 am & noon). We kick things off with a Welcome Meeting at noon. Our rehearsal time will be spent on making connections, marching, and music rehearsal (full band and sectionals). Students should bring flip folders, stand tunes, and instruments. Students borrowing school instruments should see Dr. Hippensteel PRIOR to the first rehearsal to complete the checkout procedure. Meals during band camp will be included for all members (lunch and supper). Students need to bring their own water bottles and Rambler Cards for meal swipes even if you are a commuter.

Sunday Class Colours (frosh=yellow, soph=orange, jr=green, sr=blue)

Monday – ‘Merica & UK Monday (Red, White and Blue)

Tuesday – Tropical Tuesday (Island flare)

Wednesday – Letters/Shepherd U Pride Day (Blue & Gold)

Thursday – Section Unity Day (each section is unique)

Thur. evening – EXHIBITION (Show shirt & shorts)

RAM BAND CAMP will conclude with an exhibition performance in Ram Stadium at 7 pm on Thursday, August 22nd and is free for all members of the public. We conclude band camp with a performance at Ram Stadium for Shepherd University Orientation Convocation at 9 am on Friday, August 23rd. Band Camp will conclude at 10 am Friday 8/23.
