RAM BAND is gearing up for fall 2024! 

Attention Color Guard, Percussion (Drum line and Frontline) and RB Leadership team! Please plan to attend our Ram Band Clinic on Saturday, July 13 from 9 am - 4 pm at the Frank Center. GRB!!!

The Ram Band is not limited to music majors and is open to ALL university students. Any student including incoming Freshmen, transfer students, and current Shepherd University students who are interested in becoming a member of the RAM BAND on woodwind, brass, battery percussion, frontline (piano, bass, guitar, mallets) AND Color Guard should contact Director of Bands, Dr. Scott Hippensteel shippens@shepherd.edu. 

The Ram Band is one of the highlights of Shepherd University. Known for its strong commitment to musical excellence and its exciting shows, the Ram Band is in great demand throughout the Mid-Atlantic as an exhibition band for  TOB and USBands performances. Each year, the band is seen by over 20,000 people. 

The Band Staff includes: Staff Arranger & Drill Writer Dan Kalantarian, Color Guard Instructor Anna Lynch, Marching & Visual Instructor John Karos, Percussion Instructors Daniel Morris & Molly Bercaw, and Director of Bands - Dr. Scott Hippensteel.
