Odyssey of the Mind is an international creative problem-solving program that engages students in their learning by allowing their knowledge and ideas to come to life in an exciting, productive environment. Participants build self-confidence, develop life skills, create new friendships, and are able to recognize and explore their true potential. OotM proves that students can have fun while they learn.

Global Foundries Town of Malta Foundation Grant
The Global Foundries Town of Malta Foundation was established to fund organizations, programs, and projects that provide tangible benefits of a public nature to the community and citizens of the Town of Malta. On December 16, 2016, the Shen PTA Council was awarded $3,500 to cover Odyssey of the Mind program costs for students from Chango Elementary, middle, and high school meeting the grant's requirements.
