Our work of “Electromagnetic meta-cannon emitting hybrid toroidal pulses” [Sci. Adv. 11, eads4797 (2025)] was selected for Optica OPN's "Optics 30 in 2025" — one of 30 breakthroughs in optics and photonics worldwide.
Each December, Optics & Photonics News (the flagship magazine of Optica) reviews peer-reviewed optics research from the past year. The editorial panel selected only 30 works around the world that "communicated breakthroughs of particular interest to the broad optics community." The recognition places this work among the year's most significant advances in the field.
The work was also featured as the journal cover art [link] and highlighted on the contents page [link].
