Water Tower STEM Challenge
Water Tower STEM Challenge
As an extension activity for our "A Long Walk to Water" novel study, students worked in groups to create a functioning water tower.
To prepare for this challenge students researched how water towers work, different water towers around the world, and then came up with their own rough draft designs.
Students built and tested their model water towers according to the criteria outlined below. We had a great time testing them and only had a few spills along the way.
