Mohenjo-Daro Learning Stations
Mohenjo-Daro Learning Stations
After we learned about the achievements of the ancient Indus Valley civilizations, students participated in learning stations. Students rotated around the room and worked in collaborative groups to analyze primary source artifacts found in the ruins of Mohenjo-Daro.
Using a T-chart, students described the artifacts (shape, color, material, etc.) in the first column. In the second column, they used their background knowledge and inference skills to determine what the artifacts were used for.
