About me

Hello everyone, my name is Sheida Parvasi, and I am an adjunct faculty member at Ohlone College. With a Master's degree in healthcare administration, my expertise lies in business management with a focus on healthcare.

My passion for teaching led me to start my career as a faculty member at Ohlone College shortly after graduating in December of 2018. I currently teach various credit supervision management and noncredit courses both online and face-to-face.

To enhance my teaching skills, I enrolled in @one courses to expand my knowledge of online teaching and learning. I completed five courses under their "Online Teaching Principles" certificate, beginning with "Introduction to Online Teaching and Learning." As part of this program, I also completed a Capstone project that showcases my achievements, takeaways, and learnings throughout my journey.

I am excited to share my experiences and knowledge with my students and help them succeed in their academic and professional pursuits.
