"This year's SHE challenge calls upon our S3 students to embody 'Listen with empathy, Speak out with charity.' This means practicing deep, compassionate listening and ensuring their communication is always gracious. We then challenge them to translate this charity of speech into charity of action by identifying and addressing the needs of the disadvantaged. In this way, the competition aims to build a more supportive classroom community while fostering a lifelong commitment to serving those on the margins." 

MercyHK is an organization founded in 2019 by Father John Wotherspoon in Jordan/Yau Ma Tei. It serves street sleepers and individuals in rehabilitation by helping them find shelter, providing weekly free dinners, and offering part-time employment opportunities to help them become self-reliant.
