Shawn Quan is an assistant professor at the University of New Mexico's Ellis School of Business. Her research explores marginalized employees' experiences and human-animal-nature interactions at work. Specifically, recent projects explore how Indigenous employees and employees from lower social class origins thrive in organizations, and how Arctic dogmushers sustain this unique lifestyle. She adopts a range of methods to study these topics, including experiments, field studies, interviews, and ethnographies.
