I am an Instructional Designer who is truly passionate about creating learning materials and opportunities that meet learners where they are. My goal is always to take into account learners' goals and motivation in order to create engaging learning materials that are also effective. It brings me satisfaction to see others build capacity as a result of learning materials and opportunities I create. 

I have over a decade of experience collaborating with subject matter experts, leaders, and learners to find learning solutions that meet the needs of all stakeholders. I understand the importance of balancing business objectives with learner needs, and I approach every collaborative opportunity with this principle in mind. This, combined with my mastery of e-learning development technology, adult learning theory, and visual design, enables me to create visually appealing and interactive learning materials that speak to what is practical and relevant to learners while improving employee performance in support of overall business growth.

On a more personal note, I enjoy traveling and learning languages. There is something truly immersive about traveling to a country and being able to speak the local language. The experience is richer, more authentic, and truly memorable. My favorite experience to have as a traveler is to visit museums of culture and anthropology (favorite of all is the Museo Nacional de Antropologia in Mexico City). It adds to my understanding of the various perspectives and values that exist on our planet. These learning experiences are the souvenirs I bring back home with me to influence my personal and professional interactions with respect, kindness, and empathy.
