Eset Smart Security Trial Download

Hello geeks, I think that I need some help in Eset Smart Security 4 update..

Before formatting my pc, I had Eset Smart Security 4 trial, I always had 31 days remaining, or 30..

Now I have Eset Smart Security 4 with 26 days remaining, and it's falling down with every day..

I guess, before, I had somewhere in the "windows" file in the local disk C a file called: reset.exe

and it was added to the setup in the AV.

Hello: I've used SS for some years, though I've used an alternative for a few months but decided to go back to ESET. Downloaded & installed OK as trial, (latest version) Bought the full product & got a key - I then went into activate & the key was accepted OK & showed the name of the PC & I clicked done.

I now though have though the info on the home screen - 'You are protected - Your free trial expires in 364 days' This is also at the bottom of the home screen. However under where it gives the last update time next to the picture of a key it says: 'Licence valid until 3/3/17'

I tried uninstalling again & reinstalling to no avail, so I tried again using and also used the Eset Uninstaller in Safe Mode & then manually removed all remaining Eset folders & registry entries (including hidden) with the same result & used no trial.. I then restored a full C:\ image I did a few days ago & installed using the full 64 bit SS installer (did not use the trial) which surprisingly gave exactly the same result as in the screenshot.The only thing I can think of is this PC did have Eset SS on back in November when I installed Windows 10 which is when I later used an alternative AV but then had had a full version of SS on for some time - Everything I've tried today & last night has given the same result as in the screenshot. I too have a similar issue after buying a new 1 yr license digital version so just the un activated key supplied , after i entered it in to eset v9 it displayed this trial info of 365 days ?? and there hasn't been a trial license used on this pc any ideas?

the program asks for your email so it can activate the trial version. you can use your regular email and you'll be fine.

if you're concerned about security issues, create a new email account just for the trial purposes.

I am in the process of looking for a new security product and decided to revisit Eset Internet Security. I installed the trial version and most components seem to be working well, but the one component that made me decide to use Eset vs the others is the Banking and Payment Protection module.

After installing the trial, rebooting, updating and letting it do the initial scan, I wanted to try the Banking and Payment mode. When clicking on the Banking and Payment Protection icon on the main interface, the cursor shows the hourglass and then nothing. No windows or browsers open. I then added my banks website to the protected websites as secured browser, and nothing happens in Chrome, Firefox, Edge when visiting the website.

Unfortunately, Hitman Pro Alert is a must have on my systems as I have paid for it and really trust it. I will trial the rest of Eset Internet Security and if all is fine, I may stay with it and purchase a licence.

Thanks itman, just what I thought , it's a one or the other type issue. I will continue to trial Eset Internet Security and decide in a couple of weeks if it stays. For the most part, it is light on my system and from what I've read, the protection is top notch.
