BRANDING

A P E I R O S is an Afro-Futuristic, Sci-Fi/Fantasy epic interwoven as a leading Shonen/Seinen manga series. 

I was commissioned to design the new and official logo & brand identity typeface for The Apeiros World Project, for which I proposed two visual concepts.

The client was satisfied enough to keep and use both proposals, pathing new ways and ideas in the storyline of Apeiros itself.

Concept

"The designs encapsulate the concept behind Apeiros, combining sacred geometry, afrofuture-tech, alchemy and mysticism. The first, features more of an advanced line-art style which can be affiliated to neo-retrofuturism and tribalism, while the second one explores a more modern approach of such visual concepts, inspired by fractal geometry.” 

These design concepts lead to one representing the Future and the other the Past.

Energy, Mystery, Harmony, Wonder—Discovery, Knowledge, Identity—these are all themes that resonate throughout both designs—and the larger storyline that is Apeiros.
