I am Shaun Beyond, a Digital Arts Award-winning illustrator and visual artist from Mauritius, creating concept-driven digital artworks that explore alternate realities, symbolic narratives, and the intersection of mysticism, technology, and human consciousness.
With over 14 years of experience, my artistic practice operates at the meeting point of imagination and introspection. Through surreal compositions and layered visual storytelling, I construct worlds populated by enigmatic characters and metaphysical environments that challenge conventional perception and invite deeper reflection.
While my work circulates through international exhibitions, publications, and collaborations, the core of my practice remains deeply personal: an ongoing exploration of existence, identity, and the unseen dimensions of human experience.
Each artwork begins with an idea, a fragment of philosophy, mythology, or psychological inquiry, which evolves into complex visual languages blending ancient symbolism with contemporary digital techniques. The result is imagery that feels both timeless and futuristic, familiar yet otherworldly.
My practice is intentionally exploratory and collaborative. I work with cultural institutions, creative studios, and visionary brands seeking distinctive artistic perspectives, partners who understand the power of visual storytelling to inspire curiosity, provoke thought, and expand the boundaries of imagination.
Through this work, I aim not only to create images, but to open portals into new ways of seeing, questioning, and imagining our place within the universe.

Honoured to present my work curated by @theapanage Days in Larnaca, the newly crowned European Capital of Culture 2030, and in Limassol in Cyprus. My art isn’t just on display on a massive billboards, it’s now part of a wider cultural shift.
Proud to stand in history and pushing boundaries as a key contributor to Cyprus’ cultural evolution, helping shape its path as a global hub for digital + analog art and innovation.

REVERBERATION OF A DIVINE UNION
An embodiment of contemplations on the essence of love through an entangled sense of oneness and the ultimate unifying energy experienced by two sentient beings in an elevate state of self, guided by the fluidity of the heart rather than a rationalizing mind.
This work depicts the disintegration of emotional and personal boundaries lighting up the path of self transformation by embracing and connecting empathetically through harmonized vibrations on spiritual, emotional and physical levels.
By opening the heart we allow the amalgamation to take place through an energetic interchange. Two souls now share the same state as two separate entities begin to exist as one, ascending beyond the realm of mortality.
Transcendental love then becomes the key to open portals leading to a non-dual kingdom.

Reverberation of a Divine Union ranked among the top 20 artworks for @highartcompetition 2023, an annual international art competition ran by Natural Cannabis Company.

This artwork + 4 other personal creation of mine was selected for Adler Global Open Call < The New Mutant >, organized by @adler.universe in collaboration with @focusartfair. It made its way to the top 5 international artists selected to be showcased at Focus Art Fair, New York from 18th - 21st May 2023

The artwork is also part of the SPECTRUM Digital Arts Exhibition, a group exhibition organized by the National Art Gallery of Mauritus in collaboration with the Ministry of Arts and Culture. Curated by @julianratinon, the work was showcased at La Citadelle in Port Louis, Mauritius from May 31 to June 11, 2023.
It also made its way to the Apanage Gallery project in Cyprus, in two distinct locations, Larnaca & Limassol.
