Dr. Sharun Khan, M.V.Sc., received his BVSc and AH degree from Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (KVASU) and MVSc degree from the ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Izatnagar, India. He has done his research in the Stem Cell Laboratory, Division of Surgery, ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Izatnagar, India. His area of interest is regenerative medicine, which focuses on understanding cell biology and molecular pathways involved in the maintenance and differentiation of stem cells from different tissues. He has a particular interest and knowledge in small molecule therapeutics, drug repurposing, pharmacology, infectious diseases of animals, wildlife diseases, diagnosis and therapy of animal diseases, nutrition, and biomedicine. He has received awards and recognitions (fellowships and scholarships) with excellent academic records and participated in national and international workshops and training programs. He has published 150 papers, including in international journals of repute. He is enthusiastic about gaining knowledge of academic and scientific research advancements.
