Awards / Recognitions


1. Received the DST-DFG Award for participation in 72nd Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting, in Germany dedicated to Physiology and Medicine from 25 - 30 June 2023.Nominated by the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India.

2. Recipient of the Murray Fowler International Scholarship Award ($2000 and a citation) given by the American Association of Zoo Veterinarians (AAZV) for contributions to research in wildlife medicine. 

3. Received financial support from the Brazilian National Council of Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) and the Research Support Foundation of the State of São Paulo (FAPESP) for participating in the 71st International Veterinary Students' Association (IVSA) Congress held at Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science, University of São Paulo (FMVZ-USP), São Paulo, Brazil as invited speaker. 

4. Recipient of scholarship from the International Science Council (ISC) to participate in the Sustainability Research and Innovation Congress held virtually in Brisbane, Australia, from June 12-15, 2021. 

5. Recipient of Highly Cited Researcher™ 2022 recognition from Clarivate Analytics™ for becoming the most influential researchers who have been most frequently cited over the last decade. One among the 6,938 researchers selected worldwide and 25 individuals selected from India.

7. Received First prize in the review article writing competition organized by the Indian Veterinary Association and Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University from 24th April to 10th June 2021. 

8. Received First prize in clinical case competition (Surgery Discipline) organized by the Referral Veterinary Polyclinic and Teaching Veterinary Clinical Complex, ICAR-IVRI on World Veterinary Day, April 27, 2019. 

9. Received Third prize in case presentation for companion animal medicine undergraduate category at the 9th Clinical Case Conference on Farm and Companion Animal Practice for Veterinary Students organized by Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (TANUVAS). 

10. Received Merit-cum-Means Scholarship (2012-2018) from Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India for pursuing BVSc & AH (Duration - 5 Years)

14.
