We raised funds through a go fund me, and through garden bed rentals. We then recruited about 24 volunteers who worked tirelessly one Saturday in April of 2018 and we built 24 garden boxes and filled them with soil. Without the help of these volunteers, this garden would not exist. We are grateful to them for all their help.

Later in the Summer of 2018 a crew of high school students from Maryland and Virginia, donated their time and built an additional 16 beds for us. We now have a total of 40 garden beds for our Gardeners to rent!
