The conference organized by PMI Services  held on October 10, 2024, for World Mental Health Day focused on innovative approaches to addressing employment challenges faced by adults with mental health conditions. The event was part of the Erasmus+ "Sharing4Employment" program and featured discussions from key stakeholders, including local governments, NGOs, and social cooperatives. Experts highlighted the importance of creating inclusive work environments, fostering mental health awareness, and promoting integration strategies for vulnerable groups.

This conference was significant as it underscored the role of employment in enhancing dignity and autonomy for individuals with mental health challenges, while also advocating for systemic change in workplace policies. It highlighted collaborative efforts between institutions and local organizations, promoting a cultural shift towards greater inclusivity and sustainability in the labor market. The discussions aimed to inspire actionable outcomes and foster a fairer society that values mental health and social inclusion.

on 17.12.2024, SOLIDEASBL and EPIONI | ΕΠΙΟΝΗ organized an impactful awareness event focusing on mental health and the vital role of informal carers.

This event was part of our project, bringing together more than 80 participants both virtually and in person in Athens.

The event offered a valuable opportunity to explore the challenges faced by informal carers and discuss innovative approaches to support their crucial work. It also provided an excellent platform for networking and collaboration among participants.

We’re grateful to everyone who joined us and contributed to this meaningful conversation. Together, we can continue to create awareness and develop solutions to empower informal carers.

Many thanks to the representative of the Ministry of Social Cohension and Family Mrs Panagiota Manou and former MEP Stelios Kympouropoulos
