Informatics Skills: Informatics skills competencies include interpreting information flows within an organization, creating process information flow charts for all aspects of clinical systems, creating standards and database structures for clinical care, education, administration, and research. As part of the program, innovative and analytical techniques for nursing informatics will be developed, as well as new data organization methods and research designs with the aim of examining how computer technology affects nursing, and basic science research will be conducted to support the theoretical development of informatics. Educators, administrators, and clinicians of nursing groups are investigated for their information literacy skills, competencies, and knowledge.
