I am a third-year PhD student in the Linguistics Department at the University of Connecticut (advisor: Adrian Stegovec). I was born and raised in Xuzhou, China. Prior to UConn, I received my BA degree in Linguistics with Honors from Bucknell University (advisor: James Lavine).
My research mainly focuses on theoretical syntax, the syntax-semantics interface, morphosyntax, diachronic change in syntax, as well as children's acquisition of syntax. More broadly, I am also interested in human cognition & computation, and the structure/syntax of music.
