I hold a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University (2025) and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Michigan (1987). Before pursuing counseling, I spent 20 years as a college professor in the visual arts, where I guided students in creative expression and personal development. I also have three years of experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), working with neurodivergent individuals to develop adaptive skills and enhance emotional regulation.
As a Limited Licensed Professional Counselor (LLPC), I practice under the supervision of Anne Parpas, LPC (#1518309111) at Integrative Health Consultants. I am deeply committed to upholding the ethical standards of the American Counseling Association (ACA) and the laws governing the practice of counseling in Michigan. My professional training and experience include work with clients facing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, ADHD, and identity-related concerns.
