Houston Housing Finance Corporation (“HHFC”) is a Texas non-profit 501 (c)(3) corporation founded in 1979 by the City of Houston, with a purpose to provide decent, safe and sanitary housing at affordable rates to the residents of Houston. 

The Single Family section awards funds under state and federally funded programs to assist units of general local governments, public housing authorities, nonprofits, and local agencies in the provision of assistance to low-income Texans with a focus on housing and housing-related assistance and services. Single Family Programs do not provide any services directly to individuals, but may provide referrals though Help for Texans.
