Chief Resident and Endocrinology Fellowship Applicant committed to advancing endocrine care
I am a PGY-2 Internal Medicine resident and appointed PGY-3 Chief Resident, at Augusta Health; well-grounded in endocrine and metabolic disease management. My academic portfolio is growing quickly, including peer-reviewed publications, national ENDO/AACE/ATA presentations, and several ongoing endocrinology projects. I bring broad clinical experience from both U.S. and international settings. Throughout my career, I have demonstrated strength in: leadership, teaching and mentorship, scholarship and academic productivity and service to patients, learners, and the broader community. I am committed to evidence-based practice, data-driven quality improvement, and advancing equitable care for patients with complex endocrine disorders.
My clinical and academic interests center on diabetes, thyroid disorders, obesity and metabolic medicine, and acute endocrine emergencies. I am particularly focused on improving inpatient and outpatient diabetes outcomes, advancing thyroid diagnostic and management strategies, and exploring the role of artificial intelligence and social determinants of health in endocrine care delivery. My goal is to contribute meaningfully to the evolving field of endocrinology through research, education, and compassionate, evidence‑based patient care.
