In the 21st century ICT class teachers should teach student to protect their privacy when developing a Positive Digital Citizenship. Students should know the importance of protecting their data. For example: they should know that they should not share their personal information where they do not understand why it is needed. Knowing what data they can share and what data they should keep private will help them to stay safer online and offline.
