Generally, the RIVER Mosaic Lab studies interactions among organisms and their environments to quantify ecological patterns and apply those patterns to ecological theories (River, Recruitment, Trophic), conservation, and management.
I am a life-long learner who is passionate about understanding why we observe certain patterns in the ecological world, and I love teaching and mentoring students. Check out my teaching page for information on R Tidyverse courses I teach.
I enjoy homesteading, gardening, cooking, baking, camping, kayaking, backpacking, traveling, reading fantasy novels, and playing board and video games. Also a mom to several scaley and furry creatures.
