We are delighted to have partnered with Shadwell Studio to offer a twice-monthly Runners' Yoga class, exclusively for members of Shadwell Runners.
Yoga is the perfect complement to running, helping to improve flexibility, mobility, balance and core strength: all of which can support better running performance and reduce the risk of injury. The sessions focus on stretching and strengthening key muscle groups used in running, easing tight hips, hamstrings and calves, while also helping to counterbalance the impact and repetitive movement that running places on the body.
As well as the physical benefits, Runners' Yoga also provides valuable time for recovery and relaxation. Through controlled movement and breathwork, the classes can help improve posture, aid recovery after training, and leave you feeling refreshed both mentally and physically.
Whether you are training for a race, building your mileage, or simply looking after your body so you can keep enjoying your running, these friendly and accessible sessions are suitable for all abilities and levels of yoga experience.
