Club Fees
To be a member of Shadwell Runners we ask for an annual membership fee of £5 towards the running of the club and for you to complete a registration form.
As a club that really wants to promote inclusivity into running and help runners who are just starting on their running journey, we have tried our best to keep the membership very low at £5. Everyone has the choice to apply for England Athletics association for an additional £23 but it isn’t mandatory.
If you would like to be individually England Athletics-affiliated and represent Shadwell Runners as your first claim there is an additional £23 fee (which goes directly to England Athletics).
To have Shadwell Runners as your second claim club and have access to all the benefits below you need to pay the Shadwell Runners membership fee of £5 and complete a registration form.

On top of that if you pay for England Athletics Membership (£23/year) you will also benefit from:

*If we have over 40 members registering as Individual England Athletic Members the club will be allocated 1 spot each year at London Marathon. To be eligible to go into the club ballot for the club spot you must have been a member of Shadwell Runners for more than 1 year, participated in at least 5 club runs in the preceding 12 months and have Shadwell Runners as your 1st EA claim. You will also need to provide proof of entry rejection for the event.
