Our Couch to 5K programme will start on Tues 20th January 2026.
Members and non-members alike are invited to get involved in these free sessions.
We will be following the NHS-approved Couch to 5K app, which follows a 9-week structure, based on 3 x run/walks per week. By the end of the programme, you will hopefully have gradually built up to being able to run for a full 30 minutes.
You can complete up to 2 of your weekly sessions with the Shadwell Runners (Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7.30pm), with the 3rd weekly activity being self-directed.
Every session will be led and supported by our experienced members, who will motivate, guide and encourage you.
We have several past C25K-ers who are still running with the club, many of whom have gone on to achieve things they would never have previously thought possible.
