It's a YouTube channel.
Simply put, it is a name created from my hobby in recent years, 3D modeling. As a child and into adulthood, another hobby of mine is miniatures. To this day, I have a dollhouse my grandfather built for me in his basement wood shop using scraps of plywood from the mill he worked at for about 40 years (he was a millwright). It is a simple "cape Cod" style house with only four rooms. And it was built so sturdy that as a child, I could sit on it!
Ever since, I'd always wanted to fill it with detailed miniatures. To this day, I have the collection of miniatures I collected for it over the years. I've not managed to get the little house put together since one of my kitties decided it was "Her room". Her hacienda had more furballs than furniture, but perhaps she left her mark on it...?
I should build a 3D model of the little house.
When I began to do 3D modeling, I thought of the models I either built or modified as my "digital dollhouse". Then, my sister commented on my love of miniatures combined with my 3D modeling and, on her own, also referred to my 3D modeling as my "digital dollhouse". And the name stuck.
Hopefully, that makes sense.
Now, does this mean Digital Dollhouse Creations might go more into Anne Rice's famous doll collection? Hmmm...
'Scuse me...
