1. Child Rescue and Education Support
We identify and rescue children from Dandora dumpsite and enroll them in nearby schools. Once in school, we cover their tuition fees, provide uniforms, and ensure they have learning materials. Our volunteers and teachers regularly monitor their progress and well-being to ensure each child remains focused and motivated.
2. Adopt a Child(ren) Initiative
Providing scholarships, school fees support, mentorship, and tracking each child's progress. An individual, or organization can pick one child or group of children to pay for their fees or any other need as a form of adoption.
This is mainly done to the most vulnerable and destitute children who were rescued from the dumpsite.
3. Feeding Programs (School & Holidays)
We run both school and long-holiday feeding programs.
The holiday feeding program plays a critical role in keeping children from returning to the dumpsite in search of food. Many children have confessed that one reason they love coming to school is the assurance of a meal. During holidays, these schools do not provide meals leaving these children with no option, but to return to the dumpsites to collect food remains.
4. Women Empowerment and community Sustainability
We believe that supporting a child starts with empowering their parent—especially the mother. we mentor and trains women in entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and business skills. We provide seed capital and link some women to job opportunities, enabling them to become financially independent and capable of supporting their families.
5. Food Distribution and Family Support
Beyond school-based feeding, we also identify extremely vulnerable families and distribute food packages to them once after every three months, helping them rebuild stability and dignity as we support their children’s education journey. So far, we have only managed to support 6 families due to insufficient resources.
6. Talent and Creativity Development
We nurture the creative and athletic potential of children and youth in Korogocho through talent-based programs in art, music, photography, and sports encouraging them to use their gifts as a path to self-expression, confidence, and empowerment.
7. IT & Basic Computer training for the kids
We keep the kids engaged as they interact with the digital world in exploring the emerging trends in technology
8. Mentorship Sessions
Guidance for children and youth on leadership, education, and personal development.
