About Me
Hi, Thanks for visiting my profile here!
I joined the Computational Intelligence and Bioinformatics lab as a doctoral student in September 2021 and am a senior member. I completed my BSc (Hons) degree in Plant Sciences from the University of Delhi and then was admitted to Jamia Millia Islamia and obtained my master's degree in bioinformatics in June 2020. I got ample exposure to Genomics (WGS, WES) and Proteomics (computer-aided drug design) using programming sets and some tools/suits while working in top Indian institutions like ICGEB, IARI, Jamia Hamdard and SRM University.
Motivation
An enthusiastic and self-motivated scholar working on AI-based predictive modelling and molecular enumeration to deliver a drug candidate (formulation) that can bind (only) to multiple lung cancer targets and choke the identified pathways. Collaborating (and open to) with experimentalists/industry with expertise in lung cancer to deliver an enumerated formulation to cure lung cancer at a significantly cheaper state.
Research Training/Experiences
University of Delhi [15 Sept 2015 - 15 Oct 2016]
Research Trainee (DBC-301, Delhi University Innovation project) (C/o- Prof Minakshi Prejneshu, Rtd. and Dr Niti Pathak)
Responsibilities: Food for future: Studies on the nutritional value of Kuttu (Fagopyrum esculentum) - a pseudo cereal and efficacy of weed-based botanicals against its Root-rot)
Educational Background
I was born and completed my primary education till class 8th in my hometown, Basti, UP, and then moved to Lucknow, the state's capital city, for my class 9th to 12th. After that, I got admission to the University of Delhi and graduated in Plant Science. After graduation, I appeared in the entrance test and got admitted to the Jamia Millia Islamia for my MSc in Bioinformatics from the Department of Computer Science department, where I started my PhD journey in September 2021.
