Welcome to the official information hub for the Sustainable Finance Solutions for Nature Conservation workshop.
Co-hosted by the GEF-funded Amazon Sustainable Landscapes Program (led by the World Bank) and WWF, this invitation-only event was held from April 2–4 in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia. Bringing together over 90 experts from government and NGOs, the regional workshop focused on advancing sustainable finance solutions for nature conservation in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Participants exchanged knowledge, explore case studies, and engage in strategic discussions to bridge the nature funding gap. Aligned with Target 19 of the Global Biodiversity Framework, the workshop aims to strengthen national capacity and foster cross-sector collaboration to mobilize $200 billion annually for biodiversity conservation.
