Working as a Latinx artist is an absolute passion that has lived with me since I was a child. My first exposure to art was from my abuelita (grandmother) in Mexico who taught me how to work with pastel. My mother carried the tradition forward with both acrylic and oil techniques. 

I have spent more than 20 years in healthcare as an executive. I was re-exposed to art by a wonderful Iranian artist, Behnaz Sohrabian, who relit a flame.  I both collect art and create it now. 

I enrolled in the Museum of Fine Arts Houston Glassel School of Art and am now a student gaining the necessary exposure and mentoring needed to grow.
