I'm a contemporary figurative artist located in Sacramento, CA.
My art combines classical realism with emotionalism and a result of my lived experiences or how I see the world. This artistic narrative has lived within me since I was small. Born in Mexico City, my first exposure to art was from my abuelita (grandmother) who taught me how to work with pastels. My mother carried the tradition forward with acrylic pastel and oil techniques.
I have spent more than 20 years in healthcare as an executive harnessing analytical and strategic skills. I was re-exposed to art by a wonderful Iranian artist, Behnaz Sohrabian, who relit the flame. I both collect art and create it now.
I study at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston Glassel School of Art gaining the necessary exposure and mentoring needed to develop my narrative. Thank you for visiting my site. I hope you enjoy my artistic journey!
