Workshop Date: 14 November 2024
The goal of this workshop is to generate interdisciplinary interest and conversation among researchers and practitioners in the fields of artificial intelligence, financial services and economics (among others) on the development and utility of simulation techniques for finance and economics. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
Agent-based modeling and multi-agent simulations
Simulator calibration and validation
Simulations with (bounded) rational, adaptive or learning agents
Multi-agent reinforcement learning
Game-theoretic approaches for multi-agent decision-making
Economic simulations featuring generative agents
Real-world applications of simulation tools in finance or economics
Frameworks for facilitating research in multi-agent and financial systems
Novel datasets and benchmarks for simulator calibration and evaluation
Papers should be submitted through the workshop’s online submission system. At least one author needs to have a registered CMT account. To register, follow the link here.
Papers must be formatted according the main conference template: www.acm.org/publications/proceedings-template (sigconf template in double-column format).
Submissions can be up to 8 pages in length, excluding references. Short papers of 4 to 6 pages are also welcome. Please note that the page limits are guidelines rather than strict requirements, and slight deviations in length will be accommodated for work of similar scope.
Papers must be anonymized and uploaded as a single PDF.
All submissions will be peer-reviewed, judged on originality, technical correctness, relevance, and quality of presentation in a single-blind review process.
Submissions under review at other venues will be accepted, provided they do not breach dual-submission policies of those venues.
Accepted papers will not have archival proceedings, but will be displayed on the workshop website.
