Spotlight Awards

Congratulations to the St. Francis High School Theatre’s production of "The Alibis" (fall play) and “Bright Star” (spring musical) for receiving numerous awards through Hennepin Theatre Trust’s Spotlight Education program and for performing in the 2023 Spotlight Showcase. 

St. Francis High School Theatre earned the following Spotlight Education awards:

The Alibis

• Honorable Mention: Overall Performance, Acting Performance by an Ensemble, Overall Technical Team, Lighting Crew and Sound Crew.

• Outstanding Performance: by an Ensemble

• Outstanding in a Leading Role: Lily Eastman (grade 12) as Warwick

• Outstanding in a Supporting Role: Joe Jacobson (grade 12) as Edmund Ridinghorn III

• Honorable Mention in a Leading Role: Samuel Asid (grade 12) as Detective Casey Neptune

• Honorable Mention in a Supporting Role: Madison Bates (grade 10) as Davian, and Spencer Bongard (grade 12) as Franc

• Honorable Mention in Technical Leadership: Tabitha Betterman (grade 10)

Bright Star

• Outstanding in a Leading Role: Destiny Krohmah (grade 11) as Alice, Joseph Jacobson (grade 12) as Jimmy Ray, and Lily Eastman (grade 12) as Margo

• Honorable Mention in a Supporting Role: Samuel Asid (grade 12) as Mayor Dobbs, and Zachary Karaschin (grade 11) as Sparky Randall
