This site is about my long-time solo hobby project. I am based in Czechia, and my profession is mechanical engineering with a focus on numerical simulation. However, working on this project has been a great experience, allowing me to explore a variety of skills, software, and technologies beyond my usual expertise.
My motivation for this project dates back to 2015. I was playing some local co-op games on PC, and it became obvious how poorly gamepads perform compared to mice. On the other hand, I found gamepads more comfortable, and I felt that analog sticks could work well for driving and flying games if I could improve their precision.
I started thinking that it might be worth trying to develop something new. I was wondering if there could be a controller that could work as a single device for space simulation games, where flying, walking, and driving are all required. And all of this while maintaining high precision.
This set me on a long journey to create the prototype.
I finalized the prototype in 2021 and showcased it at the Game Access gaming conference in Brno. I received a lot of positive feedback, but I have not yet managed to find a partner to bring it to market.
My goal is to collaborate with a company that sees the value in pushing gaming hardware innovation forward.
