SF Sailing Whaleboat Association
The San Francisco Sailing Whaleboat Association (SFSWA) is our non-profit 501(c)(3) partner and has been supporting Sea Scouts in the San Francisco Bay for over 50 years. Its goals include promoting and preserving the history of sailing whaleboats in SF, teaching youth sailing and seamanship skills, and supporting the SF Sea Scout Base.
Support Us
Sea Scouting is 100% volunteer-run and donor supported. Our adult volunteers are required to take youth protection training and go through a criminal background check annually.
We are always accepting new volunteers and welcome you to join our ranks. Whether you are handy with woodworking, fundraising, program planning, sailing, or just want to give back a few hours a month as a chaperone, we welcome your contribution!
