The Human-Centered Technology Lab is looking for motivated enthusiastic postdoc, graduate students, and undergraduate students in the fields of Human Factors, Ergonomics, and Human-Computer Interaction. 인간중심기술 연구실에서는 인간공학 및 인간-컴퓨터 상호작용 분야에 관심있는 박사후연구원, 박사 및 석사과정, 학부연구생을 상시 모집하고 있습니다. 관심 있는 학생들은 아래의 설명을 참고하여 이슬찬 교수 (seulchan@hanyang.ac.kr)에게 연락하시기 바랍니다.

1. The Human-Centered Technology Lab is looking for motivated and enthusiastic research professor(s) or postdoctoral research associate(s). 

2. Preferred Qualification

• Ph.D. in related fields such as Industrial Engineering, Human Factors Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, etc.

• Research interests in one or more of the following areas: Autonomous Vehicles, VR/AR, AI, Smart Factory, Behavior Modeling, etc.

• Strong background in quantitative/qualitative data collection and analysis, statistical analysis, and programming skills for data analytics (ML/DL) or development (e.g., Unity/Unreal for VR/AR)

• Good publication record in journals and conferences of related fields

• Oral and written fluency in English

3. Salary and working conditions

• The basic salary will be KRW 36,000,000~50,000,000 per year depending on work experience and qualifications

• Postdocs in the lab can get monetary incentives based on the submission and publication of SCI/SSCI journal papers

• Depending on the qualification and funding circumstance, the prospective postdoc will get paid by the university or postdoc scholarship program of the National Research Foundation of Korea.

• The position is for one year contract, and there is a possibility to be extended depending on the performance

4. NRFK Scholarship Funding lists (I can recommend prospective postdocs to one of the following postdoc scholarship programs)

   • Brain Pool Program (for all international scholars; application due - Jan to April)

   • Global Koreas Scholarship (for all international scholars; application due - Apr)

   • Postdoc Fellowship (for international scholars from developing countries; application due - around May)

1. 인간-중심 기술 연구실에서는 인간공학, 인지공학, 인간-컴퓨터 상호작용, UI/UX, 데이터 사이언스 분야에 관심 있는 박사과정, 석사과정, 학석사연계과정 학생들을 모집합니다.

2. 입학을 희망하는 학생들은 대학원 입학 요강 기준을 만족해야 합니다.

3. 자격 요건

   • 산업공학, 인간공학, 인간-컴퓨터 상호작용, 컴퓨터과학 등 관련 분야의 학위 및 배경

   • 인간의 행동, 태도, 상태에 기반한 4차 산업  (자율주행자동차, VR/AR, AI 등) 기술 설계 및 평가에 대한 관심

1. • 모든 학생들은 학업 및 연구 성과에 따라 전액 장학금을 지원받을 수 있습니다. 자세한 사항은 홈페이지를 참조하세요 

   • 인간-중심 기술 연구실의 연구 프로젝트에 참여하는 모든 학생연구원은 그에 상응하는 연구보조금을 지원받으실 수 있습니다.

   • 연구보조금은 연구 프로젝트의 참여 정도에 따라 달라질 수 있습니다.

1. The Human-Centered Technology Lab is looking for highly motivated international students in Human Factors, Ergonomics, and Human-Computer Interaction.

2. Only students applying for Ph.D. and MS-Ph.D integrated programs are accepted. We don't recruit international students for the MS program.

3. Qualification

   • Degree(s) and background in related fields such as Industrial Engineering, Human Factors Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, etc.

   • Interested in Industry 4.0 related technologies (Autonomous vehicle, VR/AR, AI, etc)

4. Eligibility

   • There are different eligibility criteria depending on the programs.

   • All prospective students must follow the official application process in the Industrial and Systems Engineering, Gyeongsang National University. Visit the webpage for more information.

5. Tuition& Research Assistant (RA) Stipend

1. • All students get full scholarships depending on their performances. Please check webpage for more information.

   • RA stipend is guaranteed for all graduate students who are involved in research projects of the HCT lab

   • The stipend will be decided depending on the participation

   • Students in the lab can get incentives if they submit and publish SCI/SSCI journal papers.

1. 모집대상

- 인간공학/인간-컴퓨터상호작용/사용자경험의 주제의 연구 프로젝트 수행에 관심이 있는 학생

- 4차산업기술 (VR/AR, 자율주행자동차, AI 등) 관련 기술에 대한 경험에 관심이 있는 학생

- 학과 공부 외 연구실에서 진행하는 프로젝트에 적극 참여하여 학습하고자 하는 학생

- 최소 한 학기 동안 활동이 가능한 학생 (3월-8월 또는 9월-2월)

2. 활동내용

- 인간기술중심 연구실에서 이슬찬 교수의 지도하에 프로젝트 수행

- 연구실에서 주당 10~20시간 (협의) 동안 프로젝트 관련 업무 수행

- 연구 실험, 데이터 수집, 분석, 논문작성 과정에 대한 실습

3. 우대사항

- 인간공학 관련 교과목 수강 예정 또는 이수자

- 학점 우수자

- 대학원 진학 희망자 (학석사연계과정 추천)

- 4차산업 관련 최신 기술 동향에 관심이 많은자
