It was talking about the mirror that was actually serving the file.

Do not mount them with Daemon tools. Instead, you can mount an image directly with vmware. Go into the CD Drive properties, and select "Use an ISO Image", and browse to the ISO. You can change this while VMWare is running so you can change the disk.
What I ended up doing is using an older version of Daemon tools (The one hosted on RocketLauncher's website) and that has solved the issue for me completely. Kept the install file on a backup HDD in case I ever needed it again ( I do this with all useful tools )
When I use DTAgent.exe is comes up with a .cda exit error when I exit the system, e.g. NEC PC Engine CD. It loads games and plays ok, but on exit it keeps saying error in Daemon tools and has a small .cda file in background with the box saying error next to it.

Launched Ys 1+2 and it wanted to install the SPTD driver so installed that and then rebooted. Tested Ys 1+2 again and it launches but doesnt autoplay anymore I had to press my run key to get it to launch the game. I believe previously the games auto launched with out hitting a key.

I tried installing daemontools exactly as outlined above. But qmailctl start fails because it can't find svc, svok, etc. I researched on the web, and it appears that the issue is with daemontools not being found in the PATH. I've tried updating the path in /etc/profile, and in /etc/inittab (when launching svscan). Although ps -ef | grep svscan demonstrates that svscan is running, qmailctl can't seem to find scripts in the /command folder.

I cannot believe they totally remove the standalone sdk, they force you to install the latest platform-tools which cause this issue, and you cannot downgrade from the sdkmanager. What a shame.Anyway, just manually downgrade adb to version 1.0.36 and it should work. There is hundreds of issues like these on the internet. Sad.
Extract the file and navigate to this path /android-sdk-path/platform-tools and replace it with the new folder platform-tools. Restart Android Studio, Visual Studio Code or any other editor you're using and boom you're good to go.
hey new here and i may have over looked something but no matter what i do i cant mount the image for \do you like horny bunnies\ i am using daemon tools ultra, and daemon tools light, and neither one works, i get no symbol or anything in my system tray and when i try to mount it on Ultra all i get is \please insert the correct cd-rom. help please, i have tried making a virtual device but nothing i do seems to work

I have a problem as well. Tried installing Animamundi using Daemon tools lite. I was able to mount the ISO file and it told me the installation was successful, but there are no short cuts to enter the game, no buttens and the system does not find it, when I try searching for it.
Then again, if I mount and run the set up again, it keeps asking me if I want to change anything. So it HAS been installed, but for whatever reason it is invisible. What can I do to fix this?
