You can create and apply customized templates to the items in your shopping cart. Customized templates hold a set of predefined values for the fields in the Cart page, so that a single template can be applied instead of applying values for every field, thus saving you time and effort. You can choose to apply a template to a specific cart item, or to the entire cart.

Modify the name of the template. Try to provide a name that would describe the situations in which this specific template should be applied to the cart. Each template must have a unique name.

 The list of templates is sorted alphabetically to enable customers with large number of templates finding the right template. You can use naming conventions to help sort more common templates up at the top, i.e. using the "AAA - My template" to sort it to the top.

Select Share Template in Your Institution if this is an institution-level template that you want to share with other users. The next time other users open Rialto, they will see this template in their Manage Templates page and will be able to apply it to carts. If you don't select this option, only you will have access to this template. 

 Other users cannot edit a shared template, but they can disable it on their own Manage Templates page. See Filling in the Cart Options. 

 Once the template is applied to the cart, it makes no difference if it was a shared or private template.

Select Clear all fields when applying a template if you want blank values in a template to override any existing cart values. If left unselected, then pre-existing values in the cart are left as is and will not be overwritten by blank template values. Leaving this option unselected ensures information entered by other staff is not lost after applying a template.

If a template contains an ordering library but no location and/or fund, the blank location and fund may override pre-existing cart values regardless of whether "Clear all fields when applying a template" is selected. This is because the pre-existing location and funds may not rollup to the newly applied ordering library.

If enabled by your system administrator, the Allow duplicate box is present. Select this option to bypass any checks for known holdings when processing your order. For more information, please see shopping cart options.

Upon creation, the template is enabled. Only enabled templates can be applied to carts.

 If you do not want to use the template immediately, you can disable it. You can do so by selecting the "Enable template" checkbox in the template, or by selecting the toggle by the template name in the list of templates. 


If a template was shared with a you, and you wish to no longer see it, you can disable it from your view by selecting the toggle next to the template name in the list of templates. This toggle will read "disable for me" on hover.

Hi, we're bringing back our abandon cart flows to Klaviyo (we were previously doing them through an agency partner) and I'm curious is if there's a way to edit the standard Klaviyo abandon cart flow in the new editor.

The reason I ask is because we are on Shopify and I read the Klaviyo documentation that says rebuilding the dynamic content block for abandoned carts is very difficult: -us/articles/115002779411-How-to-create-an-abandoned-cart-flow


But the saved block doesn't show up in the new editor.


Is there a way around that or another way of doing it?

Sorry, that's my fault, I mistyped in the OP. I meant editing the abandoned cart email. The email comes with a built out dynamic content block that pulls what the customer had in the cart. The email as it exists in the flow uses the classical editor. Is it possible to get a version of it that can be edited in the new email editor?

Note that this particular discussion is about a product list - but there are different approaches to re-using the classic/server-side markup and modifying it for those Gutenberg blocks, so this could be useful with the cart block also.

For anyone who might have the same problem, Woocommerce now install all the pages with blocks instead of shortcode. You can remove the default blocks from the cart and checkout page and insert the old shortcode with a shortcode block. This will return Woocommerce to its old behaviour.

4) How to adjust "add to cart" button position in Shop template, I want my product grid all over the site look like this. Can I use Loop instead of WooComerce Shop template for my store, or it's gon working not fully as WooShopTemplate ? Or is there any possibility to editing WooShop template by positioning Buttons and title and all kind stuff

I am using a slightly modified Luma theme and want to differ the text on the Add to cart button for product pages only. For this I have created another addtocart.phtml called addtocartmain.phtml which I want to use as the template for add to cart block for product pages. I have then attempted to override the default template using the below code within vendor/theme/Magento_Catalog/layout/catalog_product_view.xml to the body node.

After hours or attempting multiple methods of changing the template this is not changing the add to cart button. What could be stopping this from working? I can change the referenceBlock to any other block name and override them just fine with my new template. I have even removed all modules, removed everything but this one modification and tried making these modifications within the core vendor files and still this block is not changing.

Overriding this block and the original 'product.info.addtocart' block was they key to switching out my add to cart button with a new button on all pages. Add the below code to catalog_product_view.xml within the body node as suggested by thaddeusmt and Ben Crook.
