To get started, turn on the printer.
Then, open the front cover and then press and hold the Go button.
Here, you need to wait for LEDs to light.
Finally, hit the Go button again and shut the front cover.
In this type of printer, you will see a simple LCD, also called a one-line LCD, that comes with a notification board and menu navigation.
I have seen that the DCP Brother printer series usually uses such a system. So, when you see a Drum Stop message, you will need to follow the points mentioned below to reset the drum.
Open the front cover and keep the printer ON.
Now, you have to push and hold the OK button until the screen shows the Drum Unit.
Then, hit the OK button again.
Finally, use the UP arrow to reset the drum.
Some larger Brother printers come with a larger panel or screen that also includes a numeric keypad. Let’s see how to reset drum on Brother printer with an LCD screen:
Firstly, you should keep the printer on and open the front cover.
Now, hit the Clear button to resolve the error message.
Then, press 1 numeric key from the given numeric keypad to reset the drum.

First of all, you have to press the red cross button X (Cancel) button to clear the drum error.
Then, click on Settings > All Settings.
Now, use the arrow key on the touch screen to navigate tothe Parts Life section.
Here, you need to press and hold the # sign on the panel. As a result, a Reset Menu will appear.
Finally, select Drum and click on Yes if prompted with the Reset option.
