If we envision a poverty-free and skill-rich India, there is no better way than providing education to needy children. Education not only empowers children to have a secure future but also helps them develop as responsible national and global citizens. The Right to Education (RTE) Act, enacted in 2010, made education free and compulsory for all children in the age group of 6-14 years. But even after a decade, the pace of learning has not remained steady for many children in the country. The socio-economic conditions of parents and lack of proper education in schools are barriers that prevent many children from receiving education.
Shivdevi Educational and Social Welfare Society provides education to the students through our various educational projects and programs. Inspire better education by providing free education, educational materials like books, notebooks, stationery, and school bags, etc. Free classes and programs for intellectual development are run for slum and needy students.
