Disaster action or pandemic action refers to actions taken in the aftermath of a disaster or pandemic to enable basic services to resume functioning, assist victims' self-help efforts to repair physical damage, restore community facilities, revive economic activities, and provide support for psychological and social well-being of the survivors.
Shivdevi Educational and Social Welfare Society, we have been successful in distributing cooked food to thousands of people, ration kits, masks, COVID kits, and anti-disease Ayurvedic medicines to thousands of families as part of relief work during the Covid pandemic. Other daily-use items like clothes, shoes, slippers, blankets, sheets, etc. have been distributed.
Even today we are working to help the homeless and the needy.
We are determined to respond to any future disaster or pandemic.
