"1968" is a deeply personal collection that emerged from the profound loss of my father in a plane crash. It's a blend of leather and denim, drawing inspiration from the wings emblematic of the tragic flight. The grunge style reflects the harsh reality of life post-loss, with spray paint and bleached denim serving as my means of expression. The spray painted '68' symbolises the year of my fathers birth, painted into each piece as a tribute. The collection mirrors my journey through grief and healing. Ultimately, '1968' is not just clothing; it's a tribute, a visual story challenging the silence surrounding grief and an invitation for others to share their experiences. Each stitch and spray-painted stroke keeps my Father's memory alive, showcasing the enduring power of love beyond loss.
