How did the participation in this activity benefit the involved participants?
This activity helped teachers to compare information related to students ‘knowledge, worries, and interests. Besides, it helped teachers to exchange strategies or develop new ones which can help to increase the students’ interest in environmental issues. Also, it set the concrete working frame for future mobilities, by ensuring we are all familiar with and competent in applying the tools required to create a good quality project. We are ensuring we can provide a learning opportunity that is ideal for our students. By ensuring we are all familiar with and competent in applying the tools required to create a good quality project we are ensuring we can provide a learning opportunity that is ideal for our students. The technological tools we are using are continually updated and revised. Also, new tools are introduced, so this training session ensures that all partners' knowledge stays relevant and up to date. Learning about the new tools available, ensuring we have developed a strong team, and maintaining a consistent vision are central to helping us secure high expectations and standards of our students. When we are confident in our outcomes and methodologies, we are inevitably going to feel inspired and in turn, we will be able to inspire our students and thus enable them to achieve their best. The teachers will also develop the following competencies:
communication and language competencies - through workshops, discussions, debates, and other events at the project meetings could develop their language skills, improve their pronunciation, extend their vocabulary, and practice their communication skills.
creativity - will improve their creative competencies through workshops on how to use and create from the trash.
digital - during the training sessions, workshops, and seminars
social and cultural awareness - mixed people with different cultures and social environments discuss important issues and see each other’s perspective.
