I am a professor at the department of Mathematics, National University of Singapore

I obtained my B.A from Oxford University (1982) and PhD from University of California, Los Angeles (1988), under the supervision of Bill Goldman and John Millson.

Since 1990, I have been at the National University of Singapore

Research Interests

My research interests are broadly in the areas of low dimensional topology, geometric structures, representation varieties, and dynamics of group actions.
