These terms govern your use of the Sermon Cam iOS app. By downloading or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Sermon Cam grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the app on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. You may not sell, rent, sub-licence, or redistribute the app, and you may not attempt to reverse-engineer it except where that right cannot lawfully be restricted.
Exporting a finished video requires a paid subscription. Everything else — importing, tracking, transcribing, framing, captions, and cutting clips — is free to use.
Monthly — $9.99 (USD) per month
Yearly — $99.99 (USD) per year
Prices in other regions are set by Apple's pricing tiers and are shown in your own currency at the point of purchase.
Subscriptions are auto-renewing. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase, and the subscription renews automatically at the same price unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period.
You can manage or cancel a subscription in Settings > your name > Subscriptions on your device, or from the Settings screen inside the app. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Cancelling stops future charges. It does not refund the current period.
Nothing you have made is deleted or locked. Your sermons, tracking data, transcripts, framing settings, captions, and clips stay on your device, and you can keep opening, editing, and deleting them. Only exporting a finished video stops working until you subscribe again. Videos you have already exported remain yours.
All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive or handle your payment details. Billing questions, refund requests, and disputes are handled by Apple under the App Store Terms of Service. Refunds are at Apple's discretion; we cannot issue them.
The videos, audio, transcripts, and clips you work with are yours. We claim no ownership of them and no licence to them. They stay on your device; we have no access to them and no ability to retrieve them.
You are responsible for having the right to use the footage you import, including permission from anyone who appears or speaks in it, and for complying with the rules of any platform you publish to.
Do not use Sermon Cam to create or distribute material that is unlawful, that infringes someone else's copyright or other rights, or that you do not have permission to record or publish.
The app works with large video files and writes working copies into its own storage. You are responsible for keeping enough free space on your device, and for keeping your own backups of any footage you care about. Deleting a project inside the app, or deleting the app, permanently removes the working copies it holds.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Automatic subject tracking is a best-effort process: it depends on the footage, the lighting, and how many people are on stage, and it will not always produce the framing you want. Speech recognition accuracy depends on the recording and on Apple's on-device models. Review anything before you publish it.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost footage, lost time, or lost revenue, arising out of your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Apple is not a party to these terms and has no responsibility for the app or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide support for the app. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
These terms may change as the app changes. The "last updated" date above will change with them, and material changes to the subscription terms will be reflected in the app before they take effect.
You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it. We may end your licence if you breach these terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except where the law of your own country of residence grants you rights that cannot be overridden by agreement.
